Shivalinga

 After Raheem is deemed dead in a train accident, CID officer Shiva is assigned to investigate the case. Soon, his ghost possesses the officer's wife, leading him to the clues to crack the case.
The movie begins with a cook, Rahim being pushed out from a moving train, which seems to be ruled out as a suicide but is not. Upon the request of Sangeetha , the lover of Rahim, the case is re-opened and here comes the officer, Sivalinga  to scrutinize the murder.

Yemaali

 Yemaali is an Indian Tamil romantic thriller film written and directed by V. Z. Durai. The film features Samuthirakani in the lead role, with Sam Jones, Athulya Ravi and Roshni Prakash also in pivotal roles. 
We have seen several love stories, break-ups and reunions in Tamil cinema. Yemaali is the story of a youngster who wants to take revenge on his lover, who ditched him mercilessly. He is so upset that he doesn’t want to think about anything else, but her death. It all starts with Rithu aka Ri2 , a possessive girl, questioning her boyfriend, Maali, about a girl with whom the latter had posed for a photo. What begins as a small verbal fight turns out into something big, even as Maali tries to calm things down, as he is interested in continuing the relationship. Ri2, however, is in no mood to forgiv and bids adieu to their courtship.

Singam 3

 An uncompromising police chief battles a criminal operation that deals in toxic waste. 
A reputed cop from Tamil Nadu takes charge in Andhra Pradesh to solve the mysterious murder of a top police officer, and takes on local thugs and criminals during the course of his mission.
After facing a slew of unexpected hurdles and the confusion which prevailed over the title, has finally made it to the screens. With the project getting postponed multiple times and the ‘entertaining’ political situation in the state, the hype around the film suffered a beating. But that doesn’t seem to deter Duraisingam from roaring loud, making swift actions, bashing up the baddies uncompromisingly and winning applause from his colleagues as well as the audience.

 A man who repossesses cars for a local loan shark makes the mistake of seizing a crazed gangster's prized possession, a vintage Fiat.
Sketch makes a living by recovering vehicles of those who don’t pay their dues. He gets involved in a gang war with another group who develops hatred towards him. One fine day, he meets Ammu in the process of recovering a bike and falls in love with her. Eventually, he gets into neck deep trouble for stealing the main antagonist’s car with whom he has problems. How he comes out of all these problems forms the rest of the story.

 Actor VTV Ganesh as Heroine Father seems the equivalent to the character played by Ilavarasu in the first film. He gets beaten up by everyone in the film for no mistake of his. Instead of a run-down hotel, here we get a mansion, which is guarded by an ageing labrador. Sundar has retained the basic premise and main conflict, illicit money, for his second franchise installment.

  Padaiveeran is a 2018 Indian Tamil drama film, written and directed by Dhana. The film features Vijay Yesudas and Amritha in the lead roles, with Bharathiraja and Akhil in supporting roles.
Padaiveeran is set against the backdrop of a village in Theni. It starts with the leaders of two communities giving an assurance to the police inspector that they will not clash any more. After a tiff among them, which lead to the death of two people, both the parties feel that a festival, which is due in the village, should took place for the benefit of everyone there. A dialogue in the film says that everyone has a caste name attached to him/her, which can’t be erased. It is true in the context of the characters in the film.
