Even after being married for a year, Gitin is unable to take his wife Jayati on their honeymoon, owing to his workaholic boss Mr. Pranesh Bhattacharya. Finding the perfect opportunity, Gitin and Jayati leave for North Bengal when Bhattacharya travels to Mumbai on a four-day business trip. Much to their surprise, they bump into Pranesh, following which their hilarious escapade begins.
The film begins with a scene between Geetin and his boss Pranesh Bhattacharya, which sets the tone . Mallick is projected as the overbearing boss right from the word go, with his voice blaring from Geetin’s phone at midnight, all excited about work. Soham is convincing as the disinterested-but-obedient employee here. Cut to the next scene and Jayati is upset over not being able to go for honeymoon even after a year of their marriage. Playing a simple and complaining homemaker-wife, Subhashree surprises you with her transformation from the usual glam doll avatar to this — but it’s a pleasant one.
